- Appears in CN Apollyon once all T3 objectives are met.
- Possesses party-wide aggro mechanics.
- If any member of a party gets aggro, even with 0 enmity, Omega Forerunner will not reset until all members of that player's party are defeated.
- Susceptible to all debuffs.
- Discharger applies a perfect Magic Shield effect which will cause all debuffs to fail while it is active.
- Every 10% HP
, uses Pod Ejection and gradually spawns 12 Omega's Bit (Detector).
- Bits have high Evasion. They are susceptible to all debuffs except Gravity. However, due to the world boss nature of this fight, Sleep, Bind, and Break are easily broken by other uncoordinated players, and are difficult to reapply.
- Bipedal: Bits exhibit loose enmity and will frequently switch targets, often chasing after healers.
- In this mode, Bits have access to the 4 abilities in the table below.
- Quadrupedal: Bits will spawn on top of a player who is not atop Omega Forerunner's enmity list and remain stationary.
- In this mode, Bits exclusively use an unnamed attack which deals unaspected
magic damage in a 20' AoE.
- When Omega Forerunner changes modes, all active Bits will change mode as well.
- Upon defeat, upgrades treasure chests in Apollyon for the following 4-week cycle to gold.
- Has no effect on treasure chests in the ongoing cycle.
- As of December 2025, Defense, Damage Taken, and Shield damage reduction do not work correctly against this NM.
- As a result, Utsusemi and builds that prioritize high HP are recommended.
- Judicious application of debuffs and Geomancy along with large quantities of direct healing are essential to survival.
