• The base formula for the Absorb line is Base Absorbed = Floor(3 + (Job Level÷5)). Level 31 would floor at 9, 75 at 18, 99 at 22. the base duration is 90 seconds, but it is a lengthy formula.
  • This is then heavily modified by gear potency and duration from items like Liberator, and the job ability Nether Void. See Absorb for a full breakdown of the formulas that take everything into account.
  • As of the March 2015 Version Update, the effects of Absorb spells no longer decay over their duration.
