What Our Project Is About
The Complete Vana'diel Experience at Level 99
PegasusXI is a retail-like Final Fantasy XI private server. Our goal is the full Vana'diel adventure at a level 99 cap — missions, jobs, and endgame — as if you were playing the game you remember, with a dedicated team still building toward that complete picture.
From Rise of the Zilart through Seekers of Adoulin, every expansion is on the roadmap. Right now, content through Chains of Promathia is the most complete. Anything past CoP is still in development, and we would rather be honest about that than pretend later eras are finished.
Retail-Like Play with Quality of Life
We aim for faithful combat, spell interactions, and content tuning, with a light touch of quality-of-life so the world is easier to live in without changing what made FFXI special. Trusts are enabled. All 22 jobs are available. The experience is meant to feel familiar — social, group-oriented, and worth taking slowly — not a race through a custom meta.

Team
Who are we
PegasusXI is run by volunteers who still care about Final Fantasy XI. The team includes developers, testers, game masters, and community folks — people who have spent years as players, linkshell leaders, and private-server contributors, and who want a polished, retail-like 99-era world for adventurers to enjoy.
We are always interested in the right help. If you want to volunteer as a Game Master, use the GM team application. For other roles, ask in Discord rather than DMing staff at random.
