Rice balls are a unique food in that they provide two different potential effects.

There is a minor gain from simply eating a rice ball, but any equipment that "Enhances the effects of Rice Balls" adds a bonus effect to the food. This effect is only active while the equipment remains equipped.

• Wearing multiple pieces of this gear will increase all effects of the rice ball again.
  • For example, a rice ball provides +50 defense from the equipment bonus, wearing two pieces of equipment that enhance the effect would provide +100, and wearing three would provide +150.
    • The base effect of a food that is granted regardless of the equipment does not increase.
• Wearing equipment which "greatly enhances" or "fully Appreciated" rice balls will count as wearing two pieces of equipment, and thus doubling the bonus effect.
