<p><b>New page</b></p><div>This status can be used to avoid the attention of any aggressive monster that detects by Sight. Note, however, that some have True Sight and see through it, so their line of sight should be avoided to prevent detection.<br />
* [[Alertness]] affects this in some way, but is unknown exactly how it is to operate.<br />
** It is believed to possibly lower the chance of a "proc" to detect a player (about once per second), or to narrow the visual range cone of an enemy.<br />
<br />
The Invisible status will wear off immediately upon being attacked or performing most other actions such as casting a spell or activating most abilities. Invisible also prevents interaction with many NPC targets such as doors and treasure chests.<br />
* [[Job Ability]]-based Invisible statuses have their own unique cravats to what can be done under Invisible without breaking the effect.<br />
<br />
Effect duration varies randomly from 450 to 600 seconds, or 7.5 to 10 minutes.<br />
* 3 minutes base for [[Spectral Jig]], then modified by [[Job Points]], then modified by gear.<br />
* 7 minutes for [[Tonko: Ichi]], 10 minutes for [[Tonko: Ni]].<br />
