|width="70%" valign="top"|In order to turn the tide of the war in their favor, each Nation is conducting a series of Campaign Operations. Much like the Campaign Battles, the successful completion of these Operations will result in rewards of [[Experience Points]] and [[Allied Notes]]. Participating in a Campaign Ops requires one "[[Op Credits]]," granted to all Campaign participants once per Vana'diel day and can be stored by the NPC up to a maximum of 7 credits. Obtaining the Key Item [["Rhapsody in Mauve"]] will reduce the refresh of Op Credits to one per 10 Earth minutes, but the maximum of 7 credits remains unchanged. Players under level 10 will be unable to gain exp through Campaign Ops, but Allied Notes remain unaffected.

Campaign Ops are accessible depending on [[Campaign Medals]] the player undertaking them has earned, control (or lack there of) of various Regions, repeated clears of lower tier Ops, and the condition and strategies of the Nation. A myriad of Operations and settings are available, including varying levels of difficulty, solo-play specific settings, short-time operations, non-combative operations, and more. Players without the Ops activated or accessible can still assist those who are undertaking them.

Players will receive Experience the moment the objective is complete(or in the case of instanced areas, once the objective is complete and they leave the area). They will receive Allied Notes after speaking to the [[Campaign Ops NPC]] they received the assignment from.

==Participating in Campaign Ops==
Each Nation will have their own officials and specific Missions. The sections below will serve a general guide for what is available at each counter of the Nations. For more detailed information on each Operation, please visit their respective sections below.

Participating in Campaign Ops requires players to first align themselves with a faction of the [[Crystal War]] by completing the initiation quest. [[San d'Oria]]'s [[Knights of the Iron Ram]] can be joined after completing the quest [[Steamed Rams]]. [[Bastok]]'s [[Republican Legion's Fourth Divison]] can be joined after completing the quest [[The Fighting Fourth]]. [[Windurst]]'s [[The Cobras]] can joined after completing the quest [[Snake on the Plains]]. Only members of a specific faction can accept and complete ops from that nation. Switching to another faction will not result in any Op Credit loss.

Campaign Ops can be accepted by speaking to the allied [[Campaign Ops NPC]] within the Nation's capital. San d'Oria's [[Rasdinice]] is at (I-9). Bastok's [[Hieronymus]] is at (E-8). Windurst's [[Emhi Tchaoryo]] is at (H-9) of [[Windurst Waters (S)]].

*Resource procurement Campaign Ops require meeting at a Nation's [[Quartermaster]](named as so): (H-9) in [[Southern San d'Oria (S)]], (H-9) in [[Bastok Markets (S)]], and (F-9) in [[Windurst Waters (S)]].

*Supply manufacture Campaign Ops require meeting at a Nation's [[Adjutant]](named as so): (D-8) in [[Southern San d'Oria (S)]], (J-9) in [[Bastok Markets (S)]], and (F-9) in [[Windurst Waters (S)]].

*Several Ops require players to enter an instanced area([[Everbloom Hollow]], [[Ruhotz Silvermines]], or [[Ghoyu's Reverie]], based on nation) with entrances scattered around [[Shadowreign]] areas either named [[Allied Ensign]], [[Beastman Ensign]], or [[Fortilace]], based on Op type. They may be completed by a single player or a party of up to six players. The leader of the party must have the Op activated and will lead players into the area. When the objective is completed, players can leave the area by examining the [[Dawn Aureola]] or [[Twilight Aureola]]. Doing so before completing the objective will result in a failure. Players will only receive Experience Points if they are within targeting distance{{verification}} of the Aureola. Players who are not currently doing the Ops can still enter and assist and still receive the Experience Point reward. The Ops will not be marked completed in their mission menu.
