View source for Sneak (Status)

This status can be used to avoid the attention of any aggressive monster that detects by Sound. Note, however, that some have True Hearing and hear through it, so distance must be kept to prevent detection.
* [[Stealth]] affects the detection, but exact method is unknown.
* A radius of 8' from the enemy will cause aggression.
** Some true sound enemies can have up to 30' radius.

The Sneak status will wear off immediately upon being attacked or performing an aggressive action against an enemy. Unlike [[Invisible (Status)|Invisible]], you are able to interact with NPC's, doors, chests, use items, and [[Job Ability]] that do not target enemies without it disabling the effect.

Effect duration varies randomly from 450 to 600 seconds, or 7.5 to 10 minutes. 
* 3 minutes base for [[Spectral Jig]] before [[Job Points]], then modified by gear. 
* 7 minutes for [[Monomi: Ichi]].
