The topic of chocobo raising was discussed in a 9/29/06 interview between [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Famitsu Famitsu] and FFXI Developer [[Yoji Fujito]] (at the time credited as Planner in charge of Chocobo Raising, Gardening, Fishing, and Auto-Translate).
